Make your own sports drink
Use natural ingredients for electrolyte drinks
Rather than buying expensive drinks for sports it is pretty easy to make your own with natural easy to find ingredients. Here’s a simple recipe for a quick drink.
Ingredients:
1 lemon and/or lime
1 tsp of salt
Root ginger, a few slices
1 chili, chopped
700ml water
Squeeze the citrus fruit and pour into a 750ml drinking bottle. Add the salt and mix until dissolved. Crush the ginger slices roughly and add to the bottle with the chili. Top up with water and mix. That’s it!
Wow! Zing!
Ok, maybe not so much chili!
